I designed the pattern for the dragon on graph paper and then beaded it on the bead loom with glass 'seed beads' -- a piece of light-weight wire goes across the top of the beadwork to hold it fairly rigid.

I then added a beaded 'chain' so that it can be worn as a necklace. :)

This is very nice, and would be lovely as an evening bag. I used to have a little bead loom, though I never did anything this elaborate! It’s fun, isn’t it.
